Are we thinking of doing something this weekend? Turns out I'll have Sunday or Monday if there's enough interest.

Or we can do something later... But the weekend's coming up if we're gonna make plans.

Jessi and I are up for a trailride either Sunday or Monday. She is ready to drive the buggy again. I was going to ride Delilah (we finally named her mare) since she did so well being ponied.

Are you all doing something Monday for your dad? Hey, does he want to saddle up Snoopy and come along?

Barb, Peggy, Terry..... anyone else up for it? I think it is supposed to be cooler this weekend.

Barb, that's funny.

This time we are bringing an ice chest to put on the buggy.

Here's a couple more buggy pictures I thought were neat.

One of Jessi and Jan (driver gets top billing) at sunset and one of just Jessi that's blurry. These are a couple of the pictures that Lisa took Saturday evening.

I have the higher resolution originals if you want to save em but these have been resized to fit better.

Better blurry than no picture at all, I guess

Lovely picture this one

Three inches of rain here yesterday and it's raining right now... may be a bit muddy.

Wow, mud??? I think my horses might spook at that since they haven't seen it in soooo long. We've had maybe a half an inch here.

Maybe you better let us know what you want to do or if it is too muddy to ride. We might have some trouble getting the new horses used to the buggy if we can't cruise around the field. Whatever.... we are flexible. Just let me know before we have to wake up at the crack of dawn!

Three plus inches of that wet stuff?  What am I doing wrong over here????

Want to move the ride over to Floresville?  That Winds of White Oaks Ranch in New Berlin has buggy trails but I guess it would take 2 trucks to get your whole rig there.  I can make some calls.

Okay, we got a plan! We plan on checking the weather in the morning about 8ish and if there aren't any torrential downpours forcasted then we will be there at 9.

Well, another successful "mock" trail ride.  All benefitted one way or another.  Thanks Tim for spending so much time with Sir Edward.  I wasn't kidding when I said I was jealous of the running walk you had him in.  It was darn near perfect.  Actually, I took a short video of it with my digital camera and put it on U-tube for the whole world to see that "Tim Bernsen Does Gaited!!!!"  I bet all your roping buddies will never let you live it down.

That was a good ride. The little mare, Delilah, did great but ....I think I may get fired from riding point. I was watching for cars, staying out of the way of the wagon, working on speed control and head set, and dealing with horse killing donkeys..... and well, I just figured if Tim was that far back there then there must be a good reason for it. LOL Next time, I'll bring my cell phone.
